CENTER FOR PROTTALKS, HANGZHOU, CHINA.
Postdoctoral positions are available in Center for ProtTalks, China. Center for ProtTalks (https://www.prottalks.com/) generates proteomic big data, and explores AI-empowered solutions to understand biomedicine and predict protein expression and functions, facilitating precision medicine and drug discovery. All of our efforts focus on developing an AI engine called ProtTalks.
Center for ProtTalks is equipped with state-of-the-art mass spectrometers and computer servers/clusters. Since its establishment in 2021, Center for ProtTalks has yielded high impact research discoveries with publications in top international journals such as Cell, Cell Reports and Nature Communications, etc. (https://www.prottalks.com/publications/) We believe people are at the core of what drives us forward and diversity contributes to the entirety more than the sum of its parts. We have a multi-disciplinary team, with members from diverse backgrounds.
We are seeking highly-motivated candidates with experience in clinical proteomics, and/or computational proteomics. The candidates will also have opportunities to develop highly impactful projects based on their research interests.
Required Qualifications:
PhD degree in proteomics, biology, bioinformatics, life sciences or related disciplines;
Being self-driven, independent;
Being organized, careful, and responsible
Excellent analytical skills
Good verbal and written communication skills in English
The positions are initially for two years (subject to extension). We offer competitive salaries and benefits on the global standard. Postdocs who work full-time in Hangzhou after completing their postdoc research will be eligible for applying allowance of 400,000RMB from the Hangzhou government.
